Kobe Bryant will soon release Kobe Bryant’s Muse, a documentary that goes behind the stats to reveal the story of Kobe Bryant’s career, exploring the mentorships, allies and rivalries that have helped shape his stellar 18-year tenure in the NBA, and offering access to his daily experiences, his lifelong inspirations and the battle with his greatest personal challenge yet. One person that’s obviously important to Bryant and a “muse”, is his wife Vanessa Bryant.
Everybody knows Kobe is super competitive and he kept that spirit going when he issued a challenge to Vanessa. He posted a video on his Facebook page with the caption:
My challenge to @vanessabryant while shooting in an empty staples center at 4am.. Stand at the free throw line. Back to the basket. 3 attempts. And…
Kobe sets out a challenge and after three attempts Vanessa Bryant hits backwards shot from the free throw line.
I guess it’s impossible to be on around Kobe Bryant all these years and not learn something. And that “you wasn’t with me shooting in the gym,” lyric rapped by Drake about Kobe and Vanessa is put to bed now.
They seem to have a pretty cool relationship.
