19 year old reality star Kendall Jenner, is aiming to create a career for herself in modeling. Kendall Jenner told Allure Magazine for the March 2015 cover story, “As selfish as this sounds, I wanted the attention to be on me for five seconds rather than my family.”
Kendall told Allure Magazine that she didn’t want her well-known siblings to attend her runway shows during the spring-summer 2015 season. Kendall said, “If they were sitting front row, it would have been all about, ‘Oh, Kim goes to Kendall’s first fashion show!…I love Kim, but for a minute I wanted it to be like, ‘Ok, this is (Kendall’s) thing – and she’s taking it seriously.” So far Kendall has had a successful career by gracing the runway of many fashion shows, and having a clothing line collaboration with sister Kylie Jenner for Topshop. She stated, “When I started getting in front of the camera a lot, I think my confidence started to come out…It took a minute, because I had to believe in myself.”
