The word “average” and Michael Jordan should never be close to each other in the same sentence when we are talking basketball. So I am not sure whether to call Hall of Famer Bill Walton a hater or a psycho after his comments about Michael the other night on ESPN.

Walton was calling a college game on ESPN and the topic of MJ came up and Walton really fixed his mouth to say Jorda had “average” athleticism, amongst other things, and went on to say Kareem Abdul-Jabaar is the greatest player ever and it’s not even close.
He also claims MJ isn’t even top 3 in history, which makes his opinion seem pretty dated and stuck in the 70’s and 80’s. It also makes it hard to take anything else he ever says serious.
