IFWT_Russell Westbrook dunk

The 2015 NBA All-Star game was quite a show and with the West beating the East 163-158, there was a ton of high flying action going on.  Here’s a few of the All-Star game highlights.

LeBron James got going early, not only putting up the first shot of the game, but also showing off his hops that continue to tease people about him not participating in the NBA Dunk contest.  One of James’ highlights from the night was this beautiful reverse slam dunk off an alley from Kyle Lowry.  LeBron finished with 30 points (on 11/21 shooting from the field), 5 rebounds, 7 assists and 2 steals.  He also played 32 minutes, which was the most in the game.

LeBron of course wasn’t the only one who showed out last night.  Stephen Curry got the most votes to enter the All-Star game, surpassing the King and last night he gave us a little taste of why, showing off his handle and shooting ability.  Curry went behind his back, swept through the East’s defense and hit the most ridiculous shot of the night.  Steph finished with 15 points, 9 rebounds, and 5 assists.

The MVP of the night was Russell Westbrook who finished with 41 points, 5 rebounds and 1 assist including this high flying dunk where Russy soared so high he hit his head on the backboard.  Westbrook finished just one-point shy of tying Wilt Chamberlain’s All-Star record of points made, set in 1962.

And I couldn’t complete this post without including Dirk Nowitzki just for the simple fact that he dunked period and did it with so much swag.  Steph Curry threw up the alley and Nowitzki finished it, shocking everyone.
