Chicago Bulls fans gotta be feeling like this can’t be life right now. Derrick Rose will need another surgery on his right knee, and although it doesn’t appear to be as serious as previous injuries, he is still likely to miss the rest of the season.

Fans are going to need to get the images of Derrick Rose from back in 2010 out of their minds, probably forever. Rose already didn’t seem to be too mentally strong when it came to dealing with injuries, and you have to expect this to really set him back more in that department than anything actually physical.
Rose reported earlier in the day with right knee pain. An exam and subsequent MRI confirmed the tear. A timetable for Rose’s return will be determined once he has surgery, the team said.
The Bulls were legit contenders to win the Eastern conference with Rose clicking well with Jimmy Butler, Pau Gasol and others, but with Rose out for the season you can pretty much cancel the Bulls as a serious threat this season.
This is really sad news, regardless of what team you like. Derrick Rose genuinely seems like a good guy with a good heart and you just have to hope he is mentally strong enough to return from this.
