When it comes to dreams, Kanye’s were always BIG. During his visit to Oxford University, in a 30 minute speil, West says that his goals were to be of a certain Spanish artist. “My goal, if I was going to do art, fine art, would have been to become Picasso or greater. That always sounds so funny to people, comparing yourself to someone who has done so much, and that’s a mentality that suppresses humanity.” He admits that if he could have made it to an art school, he would have done so. “If I could have done it again I would have gone to the art institute over the american academy.”

Kanye, one of hip hop’s most talkative, has been traveling between the states and the UK for a while now. Between shows, music and fashion and interviews, it doesn’t look like there’s any pumping of the brakes in sight. “It is great to see the hard work pay off after having spent many hours negotiating against the odds and keeping things under wraps to secure this event which is a real coup for the Guild which I am proud to see continuing to grow from strength to strength, reaching even higher heights and winning ever more national awards and accolades,” revealed Kazmi. There’s no clue as to what Kanye will be speaking on, however we can guess that it will be something innovative in world of artistry. We are very excited to be hosting such an inspiring and high profile a speaker as the legendary Kanye West and expect it to be a fascinating and memorable event,” the chairman adds.
