March 14, 2015: Frank The Butcher, in partnership with PUMA, proudly announces the opening of his B.A.U. E.W.Y.K. pop-up shop. Located within the Jiberish Flagship store, at 299 Newbury Street, Boston. The space encapsulates all of Frank’s subcultural interests in a single, month long event. The shop will feature an exclusive B.A.U. “Eat What You Kill” capsule collection — including apparel, accessories & hard goods — and an expertly curated selection of spring PUMA footwear, music, books and art.

“My goal is to present the things that have inspired me to be creative. Whether it’s fashion, sneakers or art — it all started with my passion for music and hip-hop culture,” says Frank “The Butcher” Rivera. “Being that PUMA is arguably the first footwear brand that was synonymous with street culture, the partnership was perfect to help bring my vision to life.”

During its run, the E.W.Y.K. pop-up will host in-store appearances to support limited edition music releases. DJ Clark Kent will man the decks on launch day, March 14. On Friday, April 3, Frank will host Prodigy of Mobb Deep for a special celebration of the release of the ‘Shook Ones 2’ limited edition purple 45 (7” inch single). Finally, on April 4, Port Arthur’s finest, Bun B, will bring some unfiltered trill to Boston in support of a new, limited edition pressing of UGK’s ‘Riding Dirty’ on double clear vinyl.

Frank’s relationship with PUMA will continue the B.A.U. E.W.Y.K. concept with the September release of new collaborative footwear and apparel. Combining PUMA ‘s athletic DNA with Frank’s brand philosophy, the forthcoming offerings promise a perfect blend of street culture savvy and forward-thinking design.
