New York Jets running back Chris Johnson was released from the hospital and is reportedly doing fine after being shot in the right shoulder during a drive-by shooting over the weekend.  According to police, Johnson is not cooperating in the investigation as they try to find the person responsible for the shooting that left one person dead.

The incident report says Chris Johnson was “uncooperative” with the responding officers and would only say “a car roll by and they shot.”  The fatal shooting left him and a friend with bullet wounds and the driver of their car dead.

The report also suggested the men may have been at a nightclub before the shooting at a stoplight in Orlando.

Chris Johnson was shot in the right shoulder when someone pulled up next to their Jeep and started firing. His friend, Reggie Johnson, was shot in the triceps and thigh. The driver, Dreekius Oricko Johnson, was fatally wounded in the head. None of the men are related.

“He thanks everyone for their support surrounding this unfortunate incident as well as their condolences regarding the passing of his good friend,” said a statement tweeted by EAG Sports Management.

Investigators believe the Jeep was targeted.
