IFWT_Iggy_Azalea_Reschedule_Tour

Iggy Azealea’s Great Escape Tour was postponed, leaving fans and non-fans thinking that the reasoning was because of the latest string of slack she has been getting (from EVERYONE). “My tour would have been April,” Iggy says. It’s now going down in September; to kickoff in San Diego. Iggy Azalea gives the real reason for delaying tour dates, after the jump.

Iggy admits that she had some extra tricks p her sleeve. The Australian diva wants everything to go as smoothly as possible. “It is bumped back because I am a psychopath. It is my first arena tour, so it’s a big undertaking and I’m doing a lot of the creative direction, which I do for everything,” she explains in an interview with 97.1 AMP Radio. “It’s tough when it’s your first time working on an arena situation.”

The Great Escape Tour that Tinashe had to pull out of will have a stage setting that is taking six months to build. “I don’t want to have an average tour with a normal stage and this kind of thing,” Iggy adds. “I want people to come and really feel they got their money’s worth… and they want to come back and tell their friends about it. So that’s the risk that I took and I hope people can still come and we’re honoring everyone’s tickets.” Do it for the fans.
