Check the updated tweet! Yes that’s right…seems like everyone’s been hearing the latest from K.Dot except (insert a name here)!!! The recent set of ears added to the list?: Kanye West Praises Kendrick’s New Album!
Update: Ye must have let it marinate because he just took to his Twitter to share the following:
“KENDRICK IS AN INSPIRATION. THANK YOU FOR THE VIBRATIONS AND THE SPIRIT. YOUR MEANING, MESSAGE AND EXECUTION ARE GIFTS TO THE WORLD.”
…well alright, alright, alright!!! It was already official, but doesn’t that Yeezus nod just give it some extra-critical juice?
Original: Sure the official release date wasn’t until March 24th and sure the 8 day pushed up release is still like whaaaaat…but now Kanye West Has Listened Kendrick’s New Album and fans everywhere are juuuuuust a little more restless waiting on that new-new!
While Kanye West Has Listened Kendrick’s New Album he joins a random list of music celebs and high entertainment society-folk including Taraji P. Henson (who was allegedly the one who Kendrick let release any song she picked, which is how we all got to hear “Blacker the Berry”), Michael Jackson’s son Prince, obviously those on the album like Rapsody, and of course the TDE family–who’s now given a money-back guarantee that this is K.Dot’s “best work” to date! What did Yeezy season have to say??? Sorry to tell you it hasn’t been much yet:
“Finally back in the studio…starting my day by listening to Kendrick’s new album!!! Thank you for the music and messaging!!!”
…damn…well. I’m sure imaginations and hypebeasts are rolling just at the thought that Kanye West Has Listened Kendrick’s New Album, and that he’s back in the studio. Expect him to be here more often now that record-breaking Drake is his main competition. But would a “King Kunta” and Yeezus collabo down the line make your head explode or nah?
Check the gallery up top for his post!
I Gotta Hand It to K-dot, he is what the future holds, I like the way he puts creativity, work of art & culture into his music, He Is The Biggest hypocrite in 2015
K.Dot is just one of the greatest revolutionary artist we got in the industry today. King Kunta Kinteh is our today and history. God bless this talent. To pimp a butterfly is inspiring and knowledgeable just as the legendary Tupac Shakur said Keep your head up.
@Einstupidstein LOL, well said on your end note. This is definitely just one but a great* one answer to the call of the generation and the “Hip Hop is Dead” charge. @Basau Alexander Ibrahim also well said…even though people are quick to comparisons and everyone’s always hype to bring Pac’s name into the mix, you can’t deny the from-the-gut passion is there especially when you watch K.Dot live. Passion, spirit and quality like that, organically and with that T.H.U.G.L.I.F.E. flavor we hadn’t seen in mainstream since the likes of Makaveli and he’s upgrading it. Def salute!
