I use the word cop[s] loosely, because these guys were not the real deal, however, they were members of the Virginia Alcohol Beverage Control. University of Virginia honor student as well as fraternity member, Martese Johnson attempted to gain entry into a nightclub with fake identification – we’ve all been there. The events following is what bothered witnesses who saw the cops beat the boy to a bloody mess.Check out more down bottom

While a knee rested in his back and blood spewed from a gash to his head, you could hear Johnson yelling, “I go to UVA, you f**king racists.” That didn’t matter to the VABC. The young male was charged with resisting arrest, obstructing justice without threats of force, and profane swearing (this one tripped me the f**k out!) or intoxication – all but using a false identification.

Watch what happens in the footage below.

University of Virginia’s president, Teresa Sullivan releases a statement:

“The safety and security of our students will always be my primary concern, and every member of our community should feel safe from the threat of bodily harm and other forms of violence. Today, as UVA students, faculty, and staff who share a set of deeply held values, we stand unified in our commitment to seeking the truth about this incident. And we stand united in our belief that equal treatment and equal justice are among our fundamental rights under the law,” said the school’s president.”

…and let’s talk about Martese Johnson’s past – that seems to be a reoccurring theme these days…

“He holds numerous leadership positions on grounds, including Vice Chair for Community Relations of the Honor Committee, Vice Polemarch of the Eta Sigma Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi, and a Chair of the Leadership Development Committee of the Black Student Alliance. He has no criminal record.”

The students of UVA held a rally where Johnson and hundreds of his peers attended. “I want the remainder of students out there to be able to share their opinions and share their feelings. I beg for you guys, regardless of your personal opinions and the way you feel about subjects, to please respect everyone here,” Johnson spoke out. “We are all part of one community and we deserve to respect each other, especially in times like this. Thank you.”
