Just before he took to Twitter to rejoice over FINALLY getting off of probation from his 2009 domestic violence incident, Chris Brown used the social network to do something somewhat out-of-character for him – shut down romance rumors.

While Breezy is always vocal about what’s going on in his life with Karrueche, and always quick to shut a hater down, he typically steers clear of ever mentioning the random women that claim him on the internet left and right, but for whatever reason, a girl by the name of Briona Mae appears to have struck a cord with the X singer.

Briona totally fits the mold for Breezy‘s “type,” and had been to a few stops on the BTS tour recently. In a quick glance at her Instagram page (which was public until all of this drama,) the photos and videos she’d posted appeared to allude (obviously purposely) toward a rebound relationship with Chris. After the web got wind of it and began posting about her, Chris took to his Twitter to shut any rumor down, calling her a friend of the homies. Ouch. In response, Briona later posted a selfie with the caption:

I f*cked up, I know I f*cked up, I admit I f*cked up !! I love him that’s just some sh*t that will never change! I never cared about a man the way I care for him

She quickly deleted it, though. Do you think she really was messing with Breezy and he was just trying to save face, or is she just riding out her moments of IG fame, and was likely nothing more than another notch on Breezy’s belt – if anything at all?
