Is it worth your life? The Woman Found Dead After Her Fourth Illegal Butt Injection is definitely and unfortunately a “sign of the times” casualty of society, pressure and life imitating ‘art’ today. Dallas News, Gawker, and Complex report somewhere between the world around her and personal choice was Wykesha Reid, deciding to turn to the ‘black-market’ aka illegal @ss shots offered by the Dallas, Texas salon Deep Ellum.
The salon that facilitated the Woman Found Dead After Her Fourth Illegal Butt Injection was known for providing “cheap and incredibly dangerous procedures to help women get a bigger @ss,” mostly targeting strippers and transgender women though obviously by Wykesha’s case reaching even the average mom.
“But like many illegal butt enhancements, Reid’s ended in tragedy.”

The Dallas News spoke to ex-clients of Deep Ellum, who say it was a well-known facility for quick butt enhancements. They say patrons’ buttocks would be injected with hydrogel then sealed with super glue. The visits would last anywhere between 15 to 45 minutes and would cost between $300 and $500, sources say. “I want to see them on trial for murder,” Reid’s 20-year-old daughter, Keaira Reid, told the Dallas News. “I’m very mad because anybody could have called 911.”
Dallas police had issued a warrant for the arrest of Denise Ross age 43 and Jimmy “Alicia” Clarke age 31 who are the salon’s owners. The charges for the Woman Found Dead After Her Fourth Illegal Butt Injection are so far “practicing medicine without a license,” though police have yet to charge further since the toxicology reports are still incomplete. The incident follows a complaint filed to police by a dancer in February against Deep Ellum, who said she endured “agonizing pain and psychological problems” following the procedure.
