The verdict is still coming to a conclusion though No Murder Charge for Suspect Who Cut Fetus Out of Pregnant Woman in Colorado is confirmed. Prosecutors told the Denver Post they could not bring charges because the state of Colorado “does not recognize a fetus as a person by law unless it can survive outside the womb for an unspecified period of time.” (Wow, that’s a tough one). It’s likely however they’ll charge Lane for “unwanted termination of a pregnancy” which is a felony.
It was last month we heard of the grandmother who killed a baby by saw, but the lack of relation and charge makes this case different. “When Wilkins arrived at Lane’s home, Lane beat her and cut out the fetus, police said. Wilkins locked herself in a room, called 911 and directed police to her location, saving her own life. The baby didn’t survive.”

He said “This is the curse of God upon America for our sin of not protecting innocent children in the womb. And part of that curse for our rebellion against God as a nation is that our women are ripped open.”
