Chris Jans finds himself on the unemployment line today after video surfaced of him at a bar looking pretty wasted and slapping a woman on her butt! That is typically not the conduct you want to see from your college basketball coach, and Bowling Green University agreed. Jans was let go based on the premise that he did not fulfill his obligations as head coach. Before you go thinking nobody should care if the woman herself was fine with it, keep in mind Jans is married with two children and when he is in public or anywhere for that matter, he is representing the school and it was within their right. Not too mention there were reports of Jans grabbing a different woman by the head and shoving it towards his crotch.

Funkmaster Flex, I hate to level with the public like this, but, Chris Jans’ attempt to be the man a la Modern Family makes me want to root for his wife to go to Divorce Court and win full custody of the kids. Granted, its not anyones job to order divorces, but, I’d be happy if that where to happen.
1st, I am not going to buy into Coach Marshall Stock EVER AGAIN. I know we need coaches and Southside Jamaica Queens gaslit Chris “Problem” Mullin to do their Fred Hoiberg in their own way. 2nd, I think as a public, stronger coaches and teaches need to happen at home. 3rd, I would try to avoid hiring Coach Marshall out of Wichita this Whack A Mole Coaching Spring, and the school who hires Coach Marshall has a lot of splainin’ to do, and I don’t mean Clarissa. 4th, I am embarrassed that Cedar Rapids had a hand for the 2nd Time in a National Story and that is not a good image and going deeper, it would only bolden the attempts to recruit out of Eastern Iowa and not even get angry about Raef LaFrentz or Teddy Bridgewater. 5th, with Coach Jans having a Northeast Iowa HS Diploma (Wapsie Valley), people would be angry at Northeast Iowa for years to come, and that is for some of the shiftier Dukes of Hazzardism happening to their towns. 6th, I demand the NCAA investigate Bowling Green Men’s Basketball so that they don’t Dallas Carterize their way to Easy Street because I know I’d like to see someone in Indianapolis fix that matter and try to talk some sense of Law and Order. I doubt the Press even tries to take the local temps no more of the public and I think having no legal fees to a middle class income of them is not a good look and even with big schools, you have to balance the media and the public and its bad enough negative recruiting is everywhere you go like Full House had new episodes, but, if it was due to an actual rep, people would try to go small and find Draft Day or Coaching.
