With a very Selma-like theme, Charles Hamilton and the gorgeous Rita Ora releases the trailer to their new single, “New York Raining“. The black and white tease opens up with the Hamilton talking to a Patricia. “We understood the struggle would be dangerous. I’m just sorry that our relationship was a sacrifice,” he says.
Portraying a Black Panther in the #BlackLivesMatter movement, Hamilton and a group of individuals march and hold hands during the era of civil rights. As he writes to his woman from a jail cell, flashbacks of police violence and romance are seen over the New York skyline.
