Solange Knowles’ friend and business partner, Armina Mussa, was stabbed 10 times in New Orleans. Armina Mussa works as the project director for Solange’s Saint-Heron, and co-owns the French Quarter boutique Exodus Goods. After being attacked Mussa was quickly rushed to a nearby hospital where she had many surgeries. She still remains hospitalized and in critical condition. Court records say that Mussa potentially sustained fatal stab wounds all over her body including a stab wound to her neck.
Police have arrested Arronesia Christophe in connection with the attack and she has been booked on charges of attempted second-degree murder. Because of Mussa’s injuries, Christophe’s initial charge of aggravated battery was changed and she was later charged with attempted second-degree murder along with aggravated battery. Her bond has been set to $50,000. Solange flew to New Orleans in order to be by Mussa’s side and to attend a hearing for Christophe.
