Now I’m in no way against people getting tattoos but this is almost like getting a girl’s name tatted on you after the first date. Stevan Ridley spent his first four years with the New England Patriots and recently signed a one-year deal with their AFC East rival, the New York Jets. Just TWO days after signing his contract, Ridley went and got a giant Jets tattoo on his forearm.
There’s two major things wrong here:
1. He only signed a ONE year deal with the Jets.
2. He’s coming off major injury after tearing both his ACL and MCL, which means there’s no telling how he’ll perform; the Jets could cut him early or decide that one year is enough.
But hey, here’s showing dedication because if he has to cover this up, it’ll be quite a task.
Sidenote: I looked at a picture Ridley posted and it’s captioned “#afootballlifedocumented” showing off his tattoos which represent his career in football so I’m guessing the Jets tat is apart of his football journey. Ahhh I get it, so he won’t the regret the tat after all, it’s all a part of his story.
