Earlier this week, Nelly was arrested after cops found marijuana, meth and drug paraphernalia on his tour bus after it was pulled over for missing a sticker. His lawyer immediately issued a statement proclaiming Nelly’s innocence and clarifying that it was not meth but the way more common molly pills (MDMA.)

Though the legalities of it won’t allow him to say much, Nelly has taken to his Instagram with a statement of his own…basically saying that it was the people around him that caused that to happen.
