There were reports around social media that Jon Jones was allegedly high on cocaine but investigators found marijuana and a marijuana pipe inside the car that Jones allegedly abandoned moments after a hit and run crash in New Mexico, according to police.

TMZ Sports has obtained the police report in which cops say witnesses saw a man believed to be the UFC champ run from the crash scene moments after slamming into a car carrying a pregnant woman.

An off-duty police officer says he witnessed a man he believed to be Jon Jones fleeing — on foot — moments after the accident.

One witness says Jones got out of his car — a silver Buick — and then went back into his car to grab a “large handful of cash” before running off on to a hill.

At one point, a witness says Jones jumped a fence in his escape.

Cops say they searched the suspect’s vehicle — a rental car — and found documents with Jon’s name on them.

Jones has officially been named a suspect in the accident and police are still looking to speak with him.

In addition to criminal charges, Jones would be liable for damages to the vehicles involved and medical costs of the 20-something woman.
