Houston Texans defensive end J.J. Watt is just the coolest. He may be a brutal enforcer on the field but off the field he’s a really kind-hearted guy. One of his Twitter followers really wanted to attend his charity softball game but had to work so Watt wrote a letter to her boss.
Ashlee Sanchez was ecstatic to receive a letter from J.J. Watt asking her boss to excuse her from work. In the letter – on his own personal stationary – Watt acknowledges that he has no authority to excuse her but notes that she purchased tickets to the sold out event and is willing to drive five hours to attend.
The story went viral so I’m assuming Ashlee’s boss lets her go or the entire nation will be on his back (it’s for charity!)
