Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa and Maggie Simpson seem as if they have no end in sight. I guess not with an average of 6.2 million total viewers per episode and a 2.9 among adults between the ages of 18-49, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Once the end of the 28th season nears, we’ll know if the show will beat the record for the most-running episodes. Right now, the leader is the 1955 television show, Gunsmoke, who has a total of 635 episodes. So, keep of the good work lovers of ‘The Simpsons’ and season 29 shall come.
