The great thing about the post-season in the NBA is that you get to watch different reactions from those who have already ‘gone fishing’ and their takes on different games. The New York Knick’s Phil Jackson took to Twitter with a vague comment that could be directed at the Warriors. Click more to read his tweets!

Its an age old saying, you can win championships by shooting threes. Its either you live by the three or you die by it and it looks like Phil Jackson may have been hinting at this when it comes to the Golden State Warriors.

Going into tonight’s game, The Warriors are coming off back to back losses against the Memphis Grizzlies and the great defense. It is no secret that the Warriors are known as the league’s 3-point team which is lead by the Splash Brothers, Klay Thompson and Steph Curry. Prior to this season, the Warriors caught a lot of heat for building their team around 3-point shooters because, in the past you needed a heavy presence in the paint to even be considered elite.

Recently, Phil Jackson took to Twitter to question those teams in the league that are known for three point shooting and many are assuming he is coming at the newly crowned MVP Steph Curry and the Warriors. Jackson asked, “NBA analysts give me some diagnostics on how 3pt oriented teams are faring this playoffs…seriously, how’s it going,” and his mentions were on fire after that. I guess a lot of fans were not happy with the question coming from anyone that is associated the Knicks; and for good reason since they finished dead last in the Eastern Conference with 17 total wins on the season.

Jackson did, however, follow up and say that he was genuinely interested in seeing how well 3-point shooting teams were doing in the playoffs. I don’t know, Phil, I still think he was trolling the fact that the Warriors lost two in a row to a defensive powerhouse. Take a look at the gallery to check the tweets!
