That’s so Raven … everything she does these days. Raven-Symoné has gracefully taken her spot on ‘The View’ and as she did prior to her new position as host, the 29-year-old stirs the American pot with her beliefs. As its been the topic of conversation these days, the ladies discuss money; money with a black face; Harriet Tubman’s face.

Raven explains why Harriet Tubman should not go on a $20 bill.

The talk of Ms. Tubman replacing Andrew Jackson on the $20 bill has come to existence, with Hillary Clinton siding for the Underground Railroad leader.

“I think we need to move a little bit more forward … let me say, I understand,” Raven begins. “There’s also Rosa Parks, there’s also Eleanor Roosevelt and Harriet Tubman. Me personally, I would have chosen Rosa Parks.” I would have to agree on the Rosa decision. “I would have chosen someone that is closer to the progression that we’re doing now. I know you have to understand history so that you don’t repeat it, but that doesn’t really happen in our world.”

With that being said, I agree with Raven. Something closer to our current turmoils would sit well with me. The thing is, why even change the faces on money at this point. No matter whose face is on a $1, $5, $10, $20, $100 or even the old-fashioned $2 bill, people are going to spend it. Let’s not kill each other over whose face should be on a $20 bill.

So, what’s your opinion on the matter? Harriet Tubman should not go on a $20 bill, or should she? Let us know in the comments below.
