After the Golden State Warriors beat the Houston Rockets 110-106 in game 1 of the Western Conference Finals, Warriors star Stephen Curry brought his adorable daughter Riley to the post game press conference.  Riley ended up being the star of the presser as the adorable two-year old showed off her awesome personality.  Some reporters didn’t like having Riley around and complained that her being there hindered their ability to ask Curry questions.  ESPN’s Brian Windhorst even suggested that kids should be banned but that’s NOT going to happen.

NBA Sr. VP of Communications Tim Frank tells TMZ Sports, there is no current policy against players bringing their kids to the podium and there are no plans to change it, despite the criticism.

The NBA knows bringing kids to the post game press conferences are great PR.  Tons of videos have circulated of Riley and more people will tune into the pressers with hopes of seeing more.

Sidenote: Windhorst and Skip Bayless DO NOT represent all media.  Most of the media members loved Riley Curry and thought her being there made the press conference 10x better.  They certainly aren’t in favor of banning kids.

Most pressers are super boring with reporters asking the same dumb questions and the players giving stock answers.  I say bring all your kids!
