Last year New Jersey rapper Joe Budden was involved in a domestic dispute with now ex-girlfriend Audely Robles. Budden turned himself in to police after being accused of stealing the 25-year-old bartender’s cell phone and an incident of domestic violence.
This past Thursday Budden was scheduled to appear in court for the charges of attacking his ex and was a no-show. The judge has issued a warrant for his arrest. Read more after the jump.
Joe who is very active on his social media accounts is now said to have been so distracted by Twitter that he just forgot to show up to court. A TMZ report read, ‘Rapper Joe Budden is so on top of his social media game … he flat out forgot to show up to face charges that he allegedly attacked his gf — which is why there’s now a warrant for his arrest.’
It’s true that he did post to both Twitter and Instagram the day he was supposed to be standing in front of the judge, but could social media really be to blame? Looks like we’ll have to wait and see what comes of this. I’m sure this won’t be the last we heat of this saga.
