Dwyane Wade has 3 NBA titles under his belt and at 33-years-old, may be looking for his last huge payday before he decides to call it a career and if Miami is not willing to offer the 11x all star the money he is looking for he may find another place thats willing to pay him what he feel he still deserves.

Frank Isola of the New York Daily News Reported:

If Dwyane Wade does the unexpected and leaves Miami he could end up in one of two places; Los Angeles (Clippers) or New York.

For Wade to join the Clippers and his good buddy Chris Paul it would take some creativity since the Clippers are over the salary cap. The Knicks and Carmelo Anthony have the cap space but would Wade want to join a team that won 17 games last season?

After giving the Heat financial flexibility in recent years to sign, among others LeBron James, the All-Star guard is looking for a big pay day. The biggest drawback is that Wade will turn 34 next season and hasn’t played more than 70 games since the 2010-11 season. He’s missed 48 games over the last two seasons.

While Wade would be a good fit to play in the triangle offense and along side Carmelo Anthony because of his mid-range jump-shot, slashing ability, and unselfishness; all corner stones of playing in the triangle, it would be tough to see Phil Jackson allocating his recourses on an aging superstar because of all the holes on the Knicks roster.

Dwyane Wade also has the experience of playing along-side ball dominant players like Carmelo and may be the voice that Carmelo lacks in the locker room and court.

5-years ago, I’m sure Jackson would be ready to throw the keys to his luxury condo just to get Wade to sign but with his health history and cost, this is a move that wouldn’t make sense for the Knicks to make at this time.
