Just when you thought this situation had reached its highest peek of trouble, the trouble rises up a few more notches. Suge Knight, Dr. Dre, Ice Cube and Universal Studios have been named in a hit-and-run lawsuit for the death of Terry Carter.

Suge Knight, although he has tried almost every maneuver in the book to not attend court sessions, is currently on trial for the hit-and-run death of Terry Carter.

While we all know that Suge is the guilty party that plowed Carter over, Carter’s wife is coming for everyone. Lilian Carter, who filed the hit-and-run lawsuit in Los Angeles on Wednesday, is gunning for Dre, Cube and Universal Studios for failing to provide adequate security and negligence on the set of the upcoming film Straight Outta Compton, according to TIME.

The lawsuit alleges that Universal was negligent by continuing to film in and around Compton, knowing that Dr. Dre and Knight had been feuding for years. Despite warnings from Dr. Dre to the security team to keep Knight away from the production, he was still able to appear on set. The suit also alleges that Universal was negligent in its hiring of Cle “Bone” Sloan [the other victim during the hit-and-run] as an adviser on the production. Sloan’s altercation with Knight in the fast food restaurant parking lot immediately proceeded the incident that led to Carter’s death.

Representatives for Universal Studios and Ice Cube remain silenced, but Howard King, an attorney for Dr. Dre, called the lawsuit “preposterous.” I don’t know … it does not sound that far-fetched.
