Nia Long ties to the Spurs may not be the same reason for most. Long’s fiancee is former Spurs player and current coach Ime Udoka and it seems that the extended periods that all athletes spend away from home just isn’t cutting it for Nia Long, so she was happy that the Spurs lost in the first round this year so she can spend more time with her Fiancee.
Now I’m sure she wouldn’t mind the Spurs winning another championship but she also wants to spend more time with the love of her life, so she’s not mad when he gets home earlier than expected. Sometimes we forget how much time away athletes spend away from their loved ones due to their careers, so its nice to see the Love Nia Long and Ime Udoke have for each other and how much she’s misses him.
