The Sean Anderson Studio of Infinite Possibilities is open for business, at least for the students of Cass Technical High School in Detroit.

Big Sean is one of the few artists who frequently gives back to his community, and the students of his former high school are usually the ones reaping the benefits. The “Blessings” rapper promised the students if they raised their SAT scores, he would build a new music studio. In connection with his recent Adidas collaboration, he kept his word.

Sitting down with … Carolyn Clifford, the Sean Don explains his reasoning for the gift. “Music is obviously what I’m focused on, I’m a musician … I went to Cass Tech, my mom went to Cass Tech; it was real important to me,” he says. “I use to be freestyling during lunch, I use to battle rap after school, and I just wanted to show them [the students] that it’s possible to do something positive; it’s possible to give back once you get to a certain level of your career.”

Just, dope.
