The 2nd fugitive is finally shot and in custody! Have no fear America both of the escaped prisioners are off that streets. The men that have had upstate New York on a wild goose chase will no longer be a threat. Constable New york , 2 miles from the south of the Canadian Border David Sweat was shot and now held captive by officials. Although the injuries were not yet discussed we know that he is in fact alive and being treated in a hospital for injuries. See gallery for photo of the fugitive!
After 3 long weeks of being on the run official finally found the 2nd fugitive who is now shot and in custody. Neighbors who feared for their lives this whole time now have a bit of relief after having the whole perimeter on lock down for the search. Police and towns people made statements basically saying both escapee’s would have already been in Canada had they not been going in the wrong direction. A local woman admitted she does feel safer now and can finally get a good nights sleep.
After the recent death of the first escaped prisoner Matt was shot by Border patrol. Medical examiner says there is severe scull fracture and brain injuries due to gun shot wounds to the head. After an examination of the body they found minor abrasions and bug bites that prove they have been living in the woods for the 3 weeks they have been on the run. Now one fugitive is dead and the other one being treated and awaiting questioning and punishment. I wonder the type of punishment this man is in for.
