Donald Trump was in the makings of producing a TV show for Carlos Slim, the riches man in Mexico and one of the wealthiest men in the entire world. Slim is the co-founder of Ora TV as well as many successful businesses. In a Statement this week, a spokesman for Slim confirmed the news of a television show with Donald Trump and notes the deal was cancelled.

The statement reads : “We can confirm that we were working on a television project with Trump that has been dropped.”

Slims son in law , Arturo Elias Ayub says that he and his father refuse to work with a “Small Minded” person ,referring to Donald Trump. “[His statements] are totally out of line,” he said. “Working with someone so close-minded was not going to work.”

Slim’s businesses have collected million, placing his net worth at $68 billion, while Donald Trump claims he’s worth $9 billion. Donald Trump announced his candidacy for the 2016 presidential election last month. Recent olls have the businessman leading among GOP candidates like Jeb Bush and Senator Ted Cruz.

Donald Trup has tried to clear up his racist statements calling Mexicans rapists.

Trump sent out tweets saying things like: “I love the Mexican people, but Mexico is not our friend,” and “They’re killing us at the border and they’re killing us on jobs and trade.”
