Before LeBron James even touched an NBA court for the first time in that Cleveland Cavaliers jersey, his legacy was being discussed.  James has garnered comparisons to Michael Jordan for the entirety of his incomplete career and many debate whether he has or ever will pass Jordan for the greatest of all time.  His legacy took a bit of a hit as he and the Cavaliers lost to the Golden State Warriors in the 2015 NBA Finals dropping his record to 2-4 in the championship.  His career is far from over so none of us know how his legacy will be defined and James is reportedly not the least bit concerned about it.

LeBron James went on Today on NBC — along with Bill Hader to promote the movie “Trainwreck” — and Matt Lauer asked him about his legacy.

No, I really haven’t. I think legacy will speak for itself. Who I am as a man and what I do off the floor defines my legacy more than what I do on the court. That’s just how I’ve always thought about it but I don’t really get caught up into it too much.

I’m sure LeBron does think about his legacy but he probably doesn’t obsess over it as much as his fans and detractors.
