Last week, the official new music release day changed from Tuesday to Friday, thus changing the weekly Nielsen Soundscan tracking period from ending on Sunday to now ending on Thursday. That being said, the transition week would require some adjusting from Billboard, so for the first and only time, they tracked 11 days worth of sales – though they’d already calculated 7 days of them on last week’s chart. Basically, this week’s chart is last week’s chart plus 4 extra days of sales. Next week we will be back to the normal 7-day tracking.
With that, Meek Mill tops the charts again, as Dreams Worth More Than Money moved an additional 42k units in those 4 days, making his total 11-day tally 289k. Go, Meek!
