It’s been a busy week for police in Atlanta. While they were investigating Young Thug foll, they made their way into the studio where Thugger frequented. Although they didn’t find the “Stoner” rapper there, they did come across another emcee who was recording at the time of their raid. See why Rico Richie was at the wrong place at the wrong time after the jump!

On July 16, Atlanta police arrested rapper Rico Richie. The ATL native was recording at the same studio 300 rapper Young Thug filmed his music video for “Halftime.” While investigating Thugger following his arrest at the Perimeter Mall in Atlanta, police raided the studio and came across Richie and his crew.

The “Poppin'” rapper was allegedly caught with marijuana and two guns. Richie’s camp claims that none of the contraband that was found by police belonged to him. However, since he wasn’t about to snitch, Richie took the L and caught both drug and gun charges. Richie was released yesterday, and refuses to let his legal woes bring him down.

Check out what he had to say in the gallery!
