Update; No wonder I couldn’t find out where is was cause the video is old, some followers of our ‘Gram and the site pointed out he doesn’t have a beard, or look like he was in the gym, sorry I should have investigated more, I guess I didn’t care, my apologies. BUT beside that it’s NOT a Meek Mill diss(or Funk), everything else holds true, so I’m gonna leave it, especially for all the Drizzy fans!!!
We’re not sure where this went down as it’s not on a schedule we can find, but I’ll keep looking and get back to you on that. Depending on what side you fall on, either you’re a Drizzy fan(some are #Stans), or you’re not feeling the fact that he has someone helping him to write his rhymes(I guess we can’t say ghost writer since he gave Quentin Miller credit right??), which there is nothing wrong with help, it’s just a lot of people thought that he was coming up with all of those hot bars on his own. If you’re a fan(Stan) you’re going to just love what he’s saying here, but if you are apart of the latter, then what he’s saying is ‘look, just chill with all this hate and let me take your money for the way I put a song together, wether I’m making them or not’.
Just to be clear, what Flex has been doing is NOT hate, it’s just bringing light to the level of rapper Drake is, and Flex has been around for a long time, and he’s ALWAYS done this, it’s just this new generation of hip hop kids don’t seem to respect ‘this thing of ours’. The new generation doesn’t look back at previous hip hop legends with respect, they just say ‘oh that guy is old, and I am young so I don’t care’, which is cool, BUT y’all do know one day you’ll be older right(if you’re lucky)??? Did anyone ever stop to think Flex feels doomed too, that he felt like Drake was ‘that guy’, and was let down? Nah I know, y’all don’t care….I know.
this video seems pretty old
1. Because Drake has a full fledge beard now a days along with rocking a Cesar
And
2. Didn’t drake put on weight from being in the gym
Drake has 4 #1 rap albums n Quentin Miller had song credits for 5 songs what’s the big deal
10 bands, what was the difference from jay-z taking Omillo Sparks song “give it to me” making it his and putting Biggie’s verse on there n making a hit
All omillio did was the hook he didn’t write jay z verse asshole
And Jay-Z suppose to be the GOAT
Jay used 4 lines of Bigs,on a 16 bar verse, Omillio did get screwed but it wasn’t his song, he sung the hook on “I just wanna Love U”, but didn’t get paid apparently
Man you guys are on Drake’s case for real. No way Meek Mill is better than Drake as an artist in any shape or form. Give it up already lol
I am not a Drake fan at all. Do not have one record of his and I am in my mid 30’s. Even I can say that the Drake hate coming from you guys seems extremely suspect. This whole DJ Drama, Meek Mill crap seems extremely messy and it stinks of a young man trying to tear someone down to take their spot but camouflaging it to seem like this whole thing is to save hip hop. If Meek Mill wants to save hip hop then he needs to call out his boss. And I promise you he knows of way more people in the industry getting help, he just doesn’t want their spot. He went after Drake because Drake probably seemed like an easy target. He also went after Drake because of his talent. Even though I’m not a Drake fan, I can recognize talent. Drake has been around for some time now and I know he writes for other artists I am actually a fan of.
I’ve had family members that were in the industry and they have told me it is not uncommon for someone that becomes a huge star enlisting help to keep making hits because of extremely busy schedules and contract rules. They are contracted to make a certain number of albums and they have HUGE pressure to remain relevant. Everyone knows Drake writes. So he had help on some songs so what? Why not call everyone out just like 50 cent said in a recent interview. If you call Drake out, call them ALL out!!
Also we all know how Drake feels about Nicki Minaj and no one is going to tell me that Meek Mill does not feel threatened by Drake. He is insecure, jealous, petty, and a lousy friend. To even pressure his friend DJ Drama to release those reference tapes was scuzzy and Drama is scuzzy for doing it and Flex is scuzzy for inserting himself into all of this mess. This is not the first or last reference track any of you have heard of or come across. It’s VERY common. Reference tracks go into vaults and are not spoken of. This was all a malicious plan to bring down a talented individual over ill intentions and it’s why most people aren’t rockin’ with you guys. Meek got what he deserved and if Nicki was somehow involved then shame on her as well especially since Drake wrote Buy A Heart for her and Meek Mill. Go check the credits if you don’t believe me. You know who’s name is not on the credits? Meek Mill’s. So who wrote his rap?! Aubrey mabey?!
