More and more documents and details continue to be released to the public as part of Tom Brady’s appeal of his suspension. While most of them are irrelevant pieces of information the casual fan wouldn’t care about, a few of them are definitely interesting such as him calling coaches & teammates “babe”. Probably just a running joke with the team but his comment about Peyton Manning has been catching everyone’s eye.

The Patriots quarterback jabbed at Manning in his private email correspondance, revealed in the NFLPA lawsuit to appeal Brady’s four-game suspension for his role in Deflategate. Brady was emailing with a childhood friend Kevin Brady, who brought up a Grantland article comparing the two quarterbacks and outlining Manning’s decline. Brady wrote that his career will last at least five years longer than Manning’s. Manning is 39, Brady is 38.
In another email with Manning as the topic, a blogger pretty much blasts the fact Peyton is even compared to Brady and he didn’t seem to disagree
In another email, he calls his offensive coordinator “babe” while asking if he has anything new for him.
You already know Peyton will have this in his mind when they play this season.
