For the unfamiliar millennials, Sean P entered the game back in the mid ’90s as “Ruck” along with his partner-in-rhyme Jahmal “Rock” Bush as the famed duo Heltah Skeltah, which came up through the Brooklyn rap collective the Boot Camp Clik.

Over the last ten years, Ruck established his solo career with under his government name Sean Price and released several albums including his critically-acclaimed LP Mic Tyson. Earlier this year, Price revealed that he was planning to release his fourth studio album Songs In The Key Of Price . Look out for that to drop August 21. Funk Flex and the entire IFWT team give our condolences to Duck Down Records and the Price family.

Listen to Sean P’s most recent track “S.E.A.N.” off the new album below. Price always had a hilarious sense of humor. Watch and remember him in one of his most recent videos as he reenacts Tyrese Gibson’s memorable Coca-Cola commercial. RIP Ruck!
