THUGGER is crying out for help! Young Thug is one of those characters that you really want to like as an artist, but his odd choice of attire makes me feel as though he has something to hide. In his latest spread with DAZED magazine the Atlanta rapper is a free-spirit with dress – literally – as his choice of expression.

Check it out down bottom.

When you think Young Thug, “eccentric” may come to mind. That’s how he’s described in the August 2015 issue of DAZED. On a sweltering hot day in the A, Thugger is spotted outside wearing a plastic tunic that reads: WARNING: EXPLICIT BEAUTY. He chucks it up to all of the attention he gets from family that he wears so many different styles. “I switch clothes every set,” he says. “I’m a man. I have a girl. I have kids. My girl notice.”

While it’s all good with his girl, his sister is not swayed on the grey Tulle dress with a tutu skirt by Molly Goddard. “TAKE THE TUTU OFF, NOW!” the sister yells, however, the picture was pretty much taken for the DAZED issue at that point. Hmm … Caitlyn began dressing as a woman piece-by-piece too.

This is a don’t miss, so head on up to the gallery.

Aside from his strange appearance, Thug also has his own unique way of writing his songs. He says to the mag, “FAST!” Thug adds, “I can’t remember 16 bars. Unless you write it, you can’t. I just do it bar for bar. I did a song in eight minutes. I thought everybody could write songs that fast. But working with a lot of them, they don’t. Wayne and Drake, it takes them so long to do a song. I understand why, because they want it to be perfect. But I think I can do a perfect song in ten minutes. I did ‘Danny Glover‘ in eight minutes. ‘Stoner‘ took me almost an hour.” Cool. See, this is why I’m somewhat of a fan, but I’m still trying to get beyond the clothing.
