There’s a bunch of great duos in the NBA but we mostly think of backcourt debates like Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson or John Wall and Bradley Beal. In OKC they have a different combination, Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook. Unfortunately injuries have left one without the other for the past two seasons but when both are healthy, they’re a deadly combination. In fact, Durant says they’re the best 1-2 punch in the NBA.
Durant did an interview with SiriusXM NBA Radio and discussed coming back after dealing with a lingering foot injury last season.
Durant says he’s looking forward to coming back and although people may criticize the dynamic between them (i.e Westbrook trying to take over), Durant says they’re the best duo in the league.
