It appears as if both UCLA and Justin Combs are putting the past behind them and working together to move forward. Report say head coach, Jim Mora, personally talked with Justin last week so they can focus on the real reason he is there, which is to get an education and play football.

Justin was already out on the practice field this week after staying away from the team since the day his dad lost it on an assistant coach and tried to take him out with a kettlebell.

Diddy was arrested for the alleged assault of Bruins strength and conditioning coach, Sal Alosi, back in June. The D.A. eventually rejected the case for felony charges, but the LA. City Attorney is still considering filing a misdemeanor.

Our UCLA sources say Diddy is not allowed at practices, at least for now.

Still, Diddy’s showing the team love … posting a pic of Justin practicing with the caption, “GO BRUINS!!!!!!!!!”

Combs is heading into his junior year and this season is his best chance to get some real playing time. He definitely needs to focus on the field and forget all about what happened and it seems the school wants to do the same. Good move on both parts.
