F. Gary Gray’s N.W.A. biopic Straight Outta Compton was a box office success in its first weekend raking in $60.2 million, making bonafide stars out of the actors who scored the roles of Dr. Dre, Eazy-E and Ice Cube (Corey Hawkins, Jason Mitchell and O’Shea Jackson Jr., respectively.) Now a recent purchase proves the buzz will continue to live for some time to come!

FX Networks has purchased the exclusive U.S. commercial television premiere rights to Straight Outta Compton, so we can look forward to it hitting our TV screens sooner than later once it makes its rounds in theaters!
