It all makes sense now; those flirty comments from Marques Houston to Karrueche Tran. While most thought that Houston’s googling at Tran’s goodies was something random, it turns out that Chris Brown (who decided to add his peace of mind on the comments) has nothing to be afraid of; the two have been getting to know each other in an on-screen relationship.

The Chris Stokes-produced film, Dinner with the StankerShets, is about Travis Stanley, an attorney looking to reach the highest plateau in his firm. Stanley is secretly dating the boss’ daughter and hopes to marry the girl. However, when his girl meets the family, things may not go as planned.

From Christopher B. Stokes, the writer & director of “You Got Served” (which opened #1 at the box office) and “Will To Love,” comes a raucous new comedy about acceptance, love and the importance of family. Staring the illustrious talents of Wendy Raquel Robinson (The Game, The Steve Harvey Show), Clifton Powell (Next Friday, Ray), Dorien Wilson (The Parkers, Sister-Sister), Shondrella Avery (Napoleon Dynamite, Deja Vu), Alfred Nolan Thomas III (Stomp The Yard, Step Up 2: The Streets), Chantel Jeffries, Tammy Townsend (Disney Channel’s K.C. Undercover), Jarell Houston a.k.a. J-Boog (You Got Served, B2K) Marques Houston (You Got Served, Sister-Sister) and Karrueche Tran “Dinner With The Stankershets” is a comedy for the ages. Once his secret is discovered, Marques Houston and Karrueche Tran portray love interests who struggle to hold onto their relationship all while their two families wage war in an explosion of hilarity. Its the far east against the deep south; strict, traditional, Korean customs versus backwards, country way of life. In the end, Travis (Houston) must find a way to make the two families peacefully co-exist long enough for him to propose to the woman he loves. Written by Stokes, Houston and Chaz Echols, this heart warming comedy will have you doubled over in laughter. Get ready, because the Stankershets are serving up a tray of barbecue grilled funny bones, in “Dinner With The Stankershets,” coming to theaters late 2015 or early 2016.
