Jay Rock finally released his long-awaited album, 90059, this past Friday. The project had gone up for pre-order last month, and after TDE issued a statement that they wouldn’t drop it until it garnered 50k pre-orders, we got a release date of September 11. Did this mean they’d achieved the goal?

Apparently it didn’t, as early forecasts are now in, and 90059 is on pace to do around 15k–18k SPS in its first week. Kind of a surprise knowing TDE‘s hardcore following, no?
