Everyone is excited and can’t wait for the new season of Empire. While there will be some familiar faces playing as guest stars on the show, it’s not sitting too well with Ms. Henson.

Maybe she feels people only wish to be on the hit series because of its popularity and high ratings. Ilene Chaiken, the show runner of Empire, claims that receiving different phone calls from celebrities is a new experience for her. She explains that first season she reached out to many people and often got no as a response. Now she has celebrities offering themselves to be on the show.
Some of the guest appearances this season are Ludacris, Kelly Rowland, Vivica A. Fox, Marisa Tomei, Chris Rock, Lenny Kravitz, Pitbull, O’Donnell, Mariah Carey, Foxy Brown and Tyrese.
Chris Rock feels that he would be great for Empire. He expressed that he wouldn’t mind being on the show, but he wants to do something really kind of cool and twisted. It was stated that he would be playing in one freakish scene where he’s seated in front of a plate of human body parts.
