It was a regular night at PetCo Park as the San Diego Padres and the San Fransisco Giants took the field to compete in Thursday night’s game.

One fan wanted to make his debut into the world and sent his mother into labor sometime during the third inning!

According to sources, the mother could not hold the baby until they reached the hospital, so the little man was born in the stadium’s Palm Court Plaza.

One fan tweeted about the announcement of the baby’s birth saying that it was accompanied by the hit song “Born to Be Wild” over the loud speaker. Others took to Twitter to call the new mother a “true baseball fan.”

Levi, the little man of the hour, is the first baby to ever be born at PetCo Park and was not the only good thing that happened that night. The Padres defeated the Giants 5-4.
