Everyone has an opinion of the situation between the Washington Redskins and Robert Griffin III. It’s sketchy to say the least and most people with a brain know the most talented quarterback on that roster is still RG3. Kirk Cousins might be the starter but he clearly isn’t bringing hope to DC. Many people would agree that the way the Redskins have treated Griffin is unprofessional and personal and one of those people is Chris Rock.

Rock tweeted out that he didn’t know what was more racist? The Redskins logo or their treatment of RG3. When pressed about using the word “racist” Rock backed off slightly and said maybe that is an overstatement but why not cut Griffin instead if humiliate him?

Rock has a louder voice than most but many fans have said the same thing. The treatment appears very personal and since they demoted him to third string, they very easily could have cut him and relieved themselves of the headache.

Instead they keep him because they know Cousins is trash and so is backup Colt McCoy and there could still be a time where they need to turn to Griffin. In the mean time they will keep him benched because God forbid he gets hurt and has to miss the rest of the season due to injury, the Skins’ must pay him a guaranteed salary of more than $16 million next year and that’s just not something they want to do.
