IFWT_OJ_NicoleNext week, The Lifetime Movie Network will premier “The Secret Case Of The OJ Case: The Untold Story” and it already looks like one of the best things to watch this year. Last night, ABC’s “20/20” aired a segment about the documentary and it really will have you looking at the case in a way you never did before.

In the murder trial, OJ was never forced to take the stand and answer questions. As you all know, he was found not guilty of the murders of his wife Nicole and her friend, Ron Goldman.

When the families of the victims took OJ to civil court hoping he would be found guilty of causing Brown & Goldman’s deaths, OJ was forced to speak under oath and like I mentioned before, it gets very intense.

Maybe the biggest part of the story and clearly a huge shock to OJ himself was when Attorney Daniel Petrocelli unveiled his smoking gun. He had numerous pictures of OJ wearing size 12 Bruno Magli’s shoes. The same shoes that left bloody footprints at the crime scene and the same shoes OJ said he never would have owned because they were so ugly. When the lawyer confronts him with the images, you immediately see the shock in his face, as he thinks damn where did these come from.

The prosecution in the murder trial never found those pics and was never able to link OJ directly to the shoes. If they had found the pictures the civil attorney did, he likely would have been convicted of murder.

OJ also admits to hurting Nicole on different occasions but just when you think he is about to start coming clean, he comes up with outrageous excused for bruises and marks left on Nicole.

The tapes however definitely reveal a weaker side of OJ, one nobody saw during the murder trial. I am sure the families wish the lawyer they had for the civil suit, in which OJ was found guilty of being responsible for the deaths of Brown & Goldman and ordered to pay more than $30 million dollars, could have been the prosecutor for the murder trial itself.

This was just a snippet of the full documentary which will air on September 30th but I have no shame as a man in saying I will be watching lifetime for this. I don’t know if there will be a single person left in this country who actually thinks he is really innocent after watching this.
