Jim Carrey release a statement in the suicide of Cathriona:

“I am shocked and deeply saddened by the passing of my sweet Cathriona. She was a truly kind and delicate Irish flower, too sensitive for this soil, to whom loving and being loved was all that sparkled,” he says. A usually comedic Carrey continues, “My heart goes out to her family and friends and to everyone who loved and cared about her. We have all been hit with a lightning bolt.”

Cathriona White, the 28-year-old on-agiain/off-again girlfriend of Jim Carrey – since 2012 – has committed suicide.

Two friends found the young lady in her home Monday night. The LAPD explains to TMZ that they believed White died from an overdoes of drugs. Officials responded to a call made by the friends who went to check on her.

Sources say White left a suicide note, which mentions Carrey and that they broke up on Sept. 24. Cathriona tweeted on the 24th … “Signing off Twitter, I hope I have been a light to my nearest and dearest.”
