No matter what team Paul Pierce plays for one thing will never change, his hatred for LeBron James. It began when he was a member of the Boston Celtics and he and James exchanged some epic battles that formed into a rivalry. Now Pierce is a member of the Los Angeles Clippers and there’s at least one thing he won’t allow his teammates to do.
Yesterday was media day for 26 teams in the league including the Washington Wizards. Marcin Gortat was asked if he learned anything from Pierce before he left via Washington Post reporter Jorge Castillo:
Gortat on what he learned from Paul Pierce: “Not to wear LeBron James’s shoes to practice.” He mentioned some other things, too.
Pierce’s new teammate on the Clippers is Lance Stephenson who has shared some battles with LeBron of his own and shares Pierce’s sentiment. His other teammate Chris Paul is one of LeBron’s best friend’s in the league though although I think CP3 wears his own sneakers.
